21 Social Care provide totally impartial and independent inspectors from a range of health and social care backgrounds. We provide not just an inspector but also an additional support function for your provision, assisting in service development by providing a regular independent perspective on the suitability of any Ofsted registered provision. Our service can include advice and recommendations on best practice, management, meeting requirements or general improvements. We pride ourselves on our discretion and professionalism fitting in seamlessly to your environment. Any issues or difficulties in relation to any of these documents as well as any matters raised by young people or staff will be included in each report where appropriate to do so with recommendations and advice offer

Training Centre

121 Social Care have opened a purpose built training suite in our head office in Peterborough. All training is available to clients and candidates.

We aim to give you the tools and skills to deal with safeguarding issues that may present themselves in your practice with confidence. The course will look into recent studies into abuse, past and present cases . We cover the child protection process and legislation as well as the definitions, signs and symptoms of abuse, how to deal with disclosure and what to do if you suspect any form of abuse in line with current guidance and legislation. Our trainers have gained a wealth of experience as specialist social workers, home managers, accredited trainers working in children’s residential homes and the social care sector for some of the market leaders, with all the knowledge and hands on experience needed to deliver child protection and safeguarding.

We provide a range of services and resources to offer client companies. We have access to a wide range of professionals who have experience of working in most residential childcare settings, both in the public and private sector. Apart from offering training for client companies we are also pleased to be able to offer other training resources for hire at reasonable rates which include: A Training/Large Conference room able to accommodate up to 15 trainees or attendees and a smaller conference room for up to 8 people ideal for meetings, supervision etc. free parking is available and refreshments may be supplied if required. Family Assessment Service

We provide a comprehensive range of specialist assessment based upon evidenced based tools and procedure that assess attachment, unresolved loss or trauma and how this may impact upon the parent/child relationship, parenting capacity and risk and an understanding of the behaviour of parents and children in the light of their experiences of danger and threat.
